Hope you’re having a great week so far! How’s your soul doing? We have to endure so much each week - personal struggles and concern for friends and family, but now with information advancements, we are very aware of the struggles throughout the world. Social media has given us access to struggles in communities we don’t even live in! Thanks to Facebook, I know the drama surrounding two neighbors in Tennessee who are in a disagreement over parking in front of a mailbox. They’re six hours away, in a town I’ll never visit, but I’m drawn into this argument that shouldn’t concern me in the least! The constant bombardment of things beyond our control takes a toll. Our souls become grieved and overwhelmed, but the Good Shepherd promises to restore our soul. He fills us with peace and hope. He calms fears and heals wounds. What a wonderful God we have! 

The key is looking to Him for restoration. We must lay down our burdens, our worries, and our phones and focus on the Healer. He keeps His promise. Take a moment and read through Psalm 23 and allow God to move in your life today.
