I Am Doing A New Thing - Isaiah 43:19

"Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert" Isaiah 43:18-19

Too often we limit the movement of God to ways that we've already experienced. Maybe it's at a certain location or during a specific song. Or maybe we think God can only speak to us at church or at a big Christian event. Too often we get caught up in our schedules, in our busyness and challenges that we miss what God is doing each day. Look for Him! Yes, He reveals Himself in the big, grand showings but He's also in the details of everyday life. We have to position ourselves to see Him and hear from Him.

Authentic spiritual intimacy requires that we pursue God alone. What's keeping you from your pursuit of God? It's not good. Throw off all those things that hinder you from seeing Him at work and follow Him! Wholeheartedly.

What's hindering you? What is God asking you to let go of? What is He asking you to go do?

Trust Him.

Each time I receive a message from Eternal Light, I feel as if it was written just for me. It’s as if the person knows what I’m going through, and I need this now. I have made hardcopies of many of these devotions. Thank you, thank you, thank you and God Bless.

What a great reminder. God wants to have a relationship with his children “us” anywhere and everywhere. You don’t have to go to church to pray and speak with him, or to read your Bible, or sing songs about the Lord. You can do it anywhere.

Great Word. He IS doing a new thing; everyday, every breathe is a new thing. He said, “do you not perceive it” which implied they were missing it…we must pay attention, stay focused, and be ready for whatever comes next so we don’t miss it! Blessings
